Credit Card Can’t Be Swiped
In the event that a credit card can’t be swiped (in a card present transaction), the merchant needs to manually enter the credit card information into the Point of Sale Device (POS). Follow all instructions. An imprint of the credit card must also be taken with the card holder signing the imprinted copy. Retain sales record and imprint for your records.
